#Real Wedding Wednesday - Makayla and Tracy

It's that time of the year! Christmas songs are playing on the radio. Lights are twinkling at night. Photographers are working through their fall wedding backlogs :) Yes, friends! Like early gifts, wedding photographers are sharing their sneak peaks and galleries with me from the weddings that were shot during the Fall busy months and it's so exciting to see them as they roll in!

Today, I am going to feature Makayla and Tracy's wedding that took place at Happily Ever After at the Barn. This venue is a place that I reguarly work and I love how we've gotten weddings there down pat. It is a really wonderful barn venue that offers their clients SO much (decor, tables, chairs, linens, and decorative pieces) and their excellent customer services makes wedding planning a breeze. They're booking 2021 and 2022 dates, so check them out ASAP!

Now on to the important stuff - The absolutely lovely wedding I am featuring today is the wedding of Makayla and Tracy Kent. All photos were generously shared with me by the amazing Karissa Brock Photography. This couple could not have been any sweeter and their wedding day was full of sweet moment, laughs, and so much joy. The lovely ladies kicked off the day by getting ready in Happily Ever After's adorable bridal suite.

While the serious business of beauty was going on across the property, the guys clowned around and kept the things light and fun as thaey always do. As you can see, these guys were fun!

One of the sweetest moments came when Makayla gave Tracy a special and very personal gift of a pocket watch with a portrait of Tracy's late grandmother. It was such a tender moment.

Then it was ceremony time! Makayla and Tracy decided to keep things traditional and not see each other until the ceremony began. So, their reactions to seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day were so sweet!

This bridal party was so lovely together and so happy for the newlyweds! As you can see, I couldn't narrow down all of the photos that I love. The leaves were so beautiful this weekend. It couldn't have been a more perfect Autumn day.

But my absolute favorites have to be these portraits of the bride and groom together. Good gracious, these are gorgeous!

Then, we made it into the reception which was full of sweet dances, delicious cake, some dancing, lots of special moments with the ones who matter the most to the new Mr. and Mrs. Kent and of course...

A sparkler exit!!

Congratulations Makayla and Tracy!

Happy planning and Happy Holidays!
